Warrantee of Duramax L5P Engine

GM is reducing the engine warranty day by day.

It’s not good news for GM lovers.

L5P only has 5 years or 60000 miles of engine warranty, whichever comes first.

If you ask my opinion, 5 years of warranty is ok, but only 60000 miles of warranty is not good news for me.

They could give at least 100000 miles of warranty coverage.

Reliability of L5P Engine

Duramax L5P is considered to best reliable engine manufactured by GM.

Towing capacity, horsepower, torque, transmission system, and driving experience of L5P are far better than its predecessor Duramax LML.

Because driving an L5P vehicle is very comfy, it will give you an unforgettable good experience and convince you to buy one.

Duramax L5P lasts up to 500000 miles or above.

It can last around 350000 miles with no issues with the engine at all.

So, as a mechanic, I can say it is a very reliable and performance-oriented engine.

It delivers the power you need without any major issues.

If you ask me, which engine of the Duramax variant is the most reliable and trustworthy?

No Doubt, L5P is the one you are looking for.

Final Thoughts

GM has tried its best and changed the game by introducing the Duramax L5P engine in 2017.

The specs of the L5P engine are not unnoticeable.

It provides a great service in terms of HP, torque, and towing capacity but consumes less fuel.

As a heavy-duty engine, L5P is not a fuel-sucking monster.

It would be a perfect combination if the price of L5P Duramax was 10k bucks less than it’s now.
